About Us
At Children’s Dental Centre in Winnipeg, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and kid-friendly environment specifically designed to put children at ease during their dental visits. With this in mind, we created a space that features a range of amenities tailored for young patients, including engaging video games, large-screen TVs, and even a delightful toy train that travels around the office. Our goal is to make sure we can provide a comforting atmosphere for children of all ages, including infants and adolescents.
Our friendly staff is trained to interact with children in a way that makes them feel safe and relaxed, so they can focus on their dental health without the added stress. Whether it’s their first visit or a routine check-up, we aim to make each experience positive and enjoyable.
Our Team
At Children’s Dental Centre, our dedicated team is composed of four highly experienced and skilled doctors and dental assistants, along with three friendly and committed front desk staff members. Together, we work to provide a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, ensuring that every visit is a positive experience for both children and their parents.
Dr. Gurpreet Mauli – Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Gurpreet Mauli is a board-certified Pediatric Dentist. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Sciences in 2003. After 2 years of practising General Dentistry, she found that her passion lay in treating pediatric patients and those with special health care needs. This let her to pursue a masters in Dentistry in Pediatric Dentistry specialty training in 2007. After immigrating to Canada, she did her fellowship at Gerald Niznick School of Dentistry, University of Manitoba and The Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg. She is also currently working as a clinical instructor for undergraduate dental students and pediatric dentistry residents at the University of Manitoba.
She is a member of the Manitoba Dental Association a board-certified fellow of the Royal College of Dentist of Canada.
Dr. Mauli’s aims to extinguish dental anxiety by offering positive experiences in the dental chair and to create a positive dental experience and work with families to find ways to prevent dental cavities.
In her spare time, Dr. Mauli likes to spend time and travel with her husband (Arpan) and son (Mehtaab).
Dr. Meier - Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Meier is a board-certified pediatric dentist and founder of Children’s Dental Centre of Winnipeg. With over 25 years of experience, he is dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate dental care to children of all ages.
After earning his dental degree from the University of Manitoba, Dr. Meier completed advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Connecticut, where he served as Chief Resident. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and an active member of leading professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Canadian Dental Association, and the Manitoba Dental Association.
Dr. Meier is affiliated with Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) centres that offer pediatric dental services. He has also spent more than two decades teaching at the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Dentistry, mentoring both undergraduate and pediatric graduate students.
Throughout his career, Dr. Meier has contributed to provincial healthcare initiatives through his work with Manitoba Shared Health—efforts that reflect his deep commitment to accessible and equitable oral health for all children.
Committed to Continuing Education
Dr. Meier continues to attend numerous continuing education seminars throughout the United States and Canada each year to keep him in the forefront of pediatric dentistry.

Dental Assistants
Laura Collins
Laura Collins is a dedicated pediatric dental professional who has been part of the Children's Dental Centre team since launching her career in 2008, following her graduation from Red River College. With a passion for working with children and a calm, compassionate approach, Laura thrives in the dynamic environment of pediatric dentistry. She finds deep fulfillment in overcoming challenges and cherishes the smiles she helps create every day. Outside of work, Laura enjoys quality time with her husband, daughter, and their beloved pets. Her balance of professional excellence and heartfelt care makes her a valued member of the team and a trusted presence for families.
Keanna Neault
Keanna graduated from Red River College in 2024 and has been with Children’s Dental Centre throughout her young career. Keanna’s loves working with children and is dedicated to making sure every child’s visit to the office is a positive experience. Outside of work, she loves to cook for her family and friends and loves being active indoors and outdoors.
Kapri Neault
Kapri graduated from Red River College in 2024 and has been working as a dental assistant ever since. She has a special interest in pediatric dentistry and has been working closely with children, helping to create a comfortable and positive experience for every young patient. Kapri is passionate about making dental visits fun and stress-free for kids while supporting their long-term oral health. Outside of the clinic, Kapri enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling, and exploring new experiences.

Jeanette
Jeanette is our Surgery Coordinator. She has been in the dental field for 40 years. Jeanette enjoys spending time with her family and her grandson. She also enjoys knitting, crocheting and reading.
Cherile
Meet Cherile, your Friendly Office Manager in the neighbourhood Cherile has been part of the dental field for several years and has found her passion in pediatric dentistry. She truly enjoys connecting with children—whether they’re tiny tots or growing teens—always finding a way to make them smile and feel comfortable Outside of work, she’s one of the loudest cheerleader at her kids’ athletic events, camera always in hand—capturing every moment and highlights and yes, lovingly annoying her husband every chance she gets! 😊
